#BandierGirls love a good challenge, and we’ve had a hunch for a while now that two of our favorite things – activewear and vintage – despite being very different, could actually look really cool worn together. But, being the sartorial scientists that we are, we needed to take this idea to the lab for some testing before taking it to the streets – so we teamed up with the go-to vintage spot for girls “in the know,” The Vintage Twin, an NYC Pop Up Shop + online store , that has established a cult following (Bella Hadid dons their duds regularly, nuff said) based on their impeccible selection of vintage denim available at their “Jeanius Bar,” graphic tees, custom painted and printed flannels, and army jackets; And yes, the sister founders, Morgan and Samantha Elias, are really twins.

Here are 5 things we learned from this fashion meets fitness experiment (and some seriously good #Stylespo that you can wear from the streets to the studio)!

1. Live On the Edge: It turns out, the easiest way to “edge up” leggings is with a cool vintage concert tee tied at the waist.
