Motherhood has come a long way, baby. Could our moms ever have imagined an ode to hot mamas like Fergie’s M.I.L.F $? Or comedian Ali Wong slaying onstage at seven months pregnant? How about a female POTUS?

Women today are reinventing what it means to be a mother. With an explosion of websites and blogs dedicated to sharing a wide spectrum of honest advice and opinions, it’s truly an empowering time to decide what you want motherhood to mean to you and play by your own rules.  We are entrepreneurs, innovators, and influencers who flip from power presentations to playdates like it’s NBD (even though we all know it is) and we look amazing doing it.

Two women who live and breathe this ethos—our Founder, Jen Bandier, and Hatch CEO (link to and Founder, Ariane Goldman—recognized a void for effortlessly chic maternity activewear that supports the dynamic lifestyle of the women that inspire them.

Striking the innovative balance of both Ariane’s solution-oriented fashion expertise before and after baby and Jen’s cool factor in the fitness world, the Hatch x Bandier “Women Who Run The World” collection is the first of its kind: a simple yet game-changing edit of the key fitness pieces women will want to wear outside of the gym and after baby’s arrival.

When we thought about how to share this launch with you, we all agreed that it had to come alive on the women that inspired it.  Bringing the collection to life are six New York City iconoclasts that exemplify our version of modern motherhood. Nell Diamond, Sai De Silva, Kristin McGee, Liz Plosser, Michelle Cordeiro Grant and Frances Tulk-Hart each spoke with Bandier about their game-changing approach to business, babies and how they’re redefining what it means to be a hot mama today.
